MBC Music special Valentine’s Day Dating Game show is about to start at 6pm. At the backstage, the host Kim Hee Chul was already with the searcher Park Shin Hye.
Hee Chul: Shin Hye-ah, are you nervous?
Shin Hye: Ne, Hee Chul-ssi.
Hee Chul: Don’t be too formal ah. Just call me Oppa.
Shin Hye: Oh, mianhe. Oppa.
Hee Chul: I wonder who will be the guys that you'll be choosing for tonight.
Shin Hye: Oppa, you don’t know who they are?
Hee Chul: Ne. They didn’t tell me. They said I might tell them to you.
Shin Hye smile. Hee Chul is known to be careless sometimes when it comes to secret that’s why maybe they kept it as a secret to him.
Shin Hye: Chincha? Will you oppa?
Hee Chul: Hmmm… I don’t know. Maybe yes... maybe no. Kekeke.
Shin Hye: I think that’s the reason. Kekeke.
They were having a good time talking when the staff already call Hee Chul to inform him that the show is about to start.
At the signal of the director Hee Chul starts the show.
Hee Chul: Annyeonghaseyo Hee Chul-imnida! Omo, today is Valentine’s day and yet all of you are here. You also don’t have a date like me?
Audience: Ne. (They all replied loudly)
Hee Chul: Do you want to be my date?
Audience: Ne. (They shouted and some giggle)
Hee Chul: Araso. We’ll talk about that later. But for now, we are here to find a Valentine Date for a beautiful lady. A lady who’s most male k-pop artist’s mother want her to be their daughter-in-law. Hmm… I think I should ask my Umma too, maybe she also like her. (He act like getting something from his pocket) Aigoo, I forgot my phone. These guys should be thankful that I forgot my phone. If not, they won’t have any chance for our searcher. If my Umma said she likes her, I will not let her choose anymore and ask her as my date for tonight.
The audience laughed. They are enjoying the cleverness of Hee Chul.
Hee Chul: I won’t keep you waiting. Ladies and gentlemen, please meet our searcher for tonight. The face of MBC Music… Ms. Park Shin Hye.
Shin Hye appear on the stage wearing a yellow mini dress which she wore before in her Taiwanese series “Hayate the Combat Butler”
Shin Hye: Annyeonghaseyo Park Shin Hye-imnida. (She said to the audience and then turns to Hee Chul) Annyeonghaseyo Hee Chul-ssi.
Hee Chul: Annyeonghaseyo. Shin Hye-ah, you can just call me Hee Chul Oppa. If at the end of the show you can’t choose among the guys, well... you have Hee Chul Oppa here. (He winks at her) Am I right? (He asks the audience)
Audience: Ne, Hee Chul Oppa! (The audience shouts)
Hee Chul: See Shin Hye…
Shin Hye: Araso Hee Chul Oppa. (She smiles)
Hee Chul: Omo, don’t you smile like that. I may not continue hosting this dating game.
Shin Hye: Wae-yo?
Hee Chul: Because I will ask one of those guys there to go out and do the hosting. I’ll replace him so I could have the chance to be your date.
Shin Hye: Mwo?
Hee Chul: I’m just kidding. Kekeke. Araso, I’ll be serious now. I won’t tease you anymore. Before we get to know the mysterious guys behind those three doors, let me ask you first Shin Hye.

Hee Chul: Are you expecting that one of these guys could be someone you know or maybe close to you?

Shin Hye: I don’t think they will join.
Hee Chul: What make you say that?
Shin Hye: If one of them did join, I’m sure he will let me know so that I’ll choose him.
Hee Chul: You think so?
Shin Hye: Ne.
Hee Chul: Well… Just to let know Shin Hye. All our guests here agreed that they won’t let anyone know that they will be joining this special Valentine’s Day dating game. And neither each of them knew who they will be competing with. So, there is really a possibility that one of them knew you.
Shin Hye: Chincha? I hope I will choose that person. At least I will feel more comfortable.
Hee Chul: And if you didn’t choose him?
Shin Hye: Well… Let’s just see.
Hee Chul: Then let’s just see. I will explain to you first the flow of our dating game tonight. As I mentioned a while ago, you won’t see them. You will only hear them but…
Shin Hye: But?
Hee Chul: But we will change the sound of their voice when they speak so that you will not recognize them.

MG1 (Geun Suk): Annyeonghaseyo Shin Hye-ssi. A beautiful princess like you should not be spending this special day alone. Allow me to be your prince for tonight or yet be your prince for life.
Hee Chul: Omo, Shin Hye. He doesn’t only want to be your date tonight, looks like he’s planning to see you more after this.
Shin Hye: Let see later if he is really meant to be my prince.
Hee Chul: Now, it’s your turn Mystery Guy Number 2.
MG2 (Hong Ki): Annyeonghaseyo Shin Hye-ssi. For a bubbly girl like you, a buddy or friend should be your date for tonight. We will enjoy the day as comfortable as we can. Then we will see what happens next. As they say a relationship that starts in friendships last longer.
Hee Chul: This one wants to be your friend first and will just see if you could be more than that.
Shin Hye: That’s nice. At least I will have a new friend.
Hee Chul: Now, Mystery Guy Number 3, tell us about your self.
MG3 (Yong Hwa): Annyeonghaseyo Shin Hye-ssi. I don’t want to be your prince nor your friend. Just let me be your date tonight and I’ll be the happiest man.
Hee Chul: Shin Hye-ah this one only wants to date you. He doesn’t plan of meeting you after this.
Shin Hye: Ne. Is he only forced to come tonight? Kekeke.
Hee Chul: So now that you heard them, do you have any idea of who they are?
Shin Hye: Aniyo. The sound of their voice is different so it’s hard for me to recognize who they are.
Hee Chul: If that’s the case, we will have a short break and after that we will start the game.

Chapter 5: Yong Hwa's Girl Revealed
Shin Hye was checking her twitter account when she saw Yong Hwa’s tweet.
She click the twitpic link and saw the photo.
Then she click the piZap link...
She can’t explain what she felt at this moment. She’s just so happy because finally the truth was revealed.
Yong Hwa saw her smiling and said. “Are you happy My Jagiya?”
Shin Hye smile and run towards Yong Hwa and hugs him. “I’m missed you Yong and…” She said and then whisper near his ear. “Saranghe”
Yong Hwa smiled and looks at her. “I missed you too my Jagiya… and I won’t be tired in saying…”
He moved his face closer to her and says. “Saranghe” And then he kiss her… the kiss that they both missed.

Chapter 4 - Yong Hwa's Revelation
After their confession with their fellow ANJell, Shin Hye and Yong Hwa started to go out in public together. They would go to their favorite coffee shop, watch movies together, listen to music or go for a bike ride at Han River.
Because of this people starts to speculate that there is something more than friendship between them. Different sites started to talk about their relationship. Some gives positive comments (A/N: Dooley/YongShin Lovers) and others negative (A/N: you know who). Both loyal and true fans of Yong Hwa/CN Blue and Shin Hye commented that they are happy if ever they are really dating in real life. However, some who can’t accept it would leave negative comments through CN Blue and Shin Hye related sites. They also tweet some negative comments through her twitter account. This really affects Shin Hye.
“Yong, I thought I’m strong.” She said crying after reading a tweet (from a so called fan of Yong Hwa and his fake wife who wants them to end up together) telling her that she won't do good for his career.
“Shin Hye-ah” He said and hugs his jagiya. “Mianhe, if I can’t do something to stop all this.”
“What if they are right that I will just be a big hindrance to your success?” She said sobbing on Yong Hwa’s chest.
“Aniyo, our success will not depend on anyone. It all depends on our talent and hard work. Please don’t put yourself down.” He said while stroking her hair.
“How can I go to Hong Kong if you’re like this? I’ll be leaving tomorrow to shoot for Running Man. Who will comfort you while I’m not around?” He said worriedly.
Shin Hye then look up at him. “Mianhe, I didn’t want you to worry about me.” She said and wipes her tears away. “Promise I’ll be strong. I’ll prove to them that I am not a hindrance to you.”
“That’s my jagiya.” Then he kissed her forehead and hugs her again.
Yong Hwa’s shoot in Hong Kong went smoothly. As always he played the game well. But after the shoot they weren’t able to meet again as CN Blue went to Japan again for their tour. During those times news and photos of Yong Hwa in Running Man came out. They show photos of him with Lee Min Jung. They take the same plane and car to and from Hong Kong. Some commented that they look comfortable with each other.
CN Blue returned to Seoul for their encore concert. Yong Hwa and Shin Hye decided that they will do the announcement during the concert. Everything has been plan but at the last minute Shin Hye back out.
“Mwo? I thought we already talked about this? We agreed that we will announce today.” Yong Hwa asked Shin Hye over the phone.
“Mianhe Yong. I think it’s not yet the right time.” She said while trying not to let Yong Hwa noticed that she is crying.
“I don’t understand it Shin Hye.” He said. “If you can’t come today it’s fine. But I can’t promise that I won’t say or do anything to prove that I’m ready to tell the whole world that I'm in love with you.” He sounds disappointed.
“Yong…” Shin Hye said when she noticed that his voice is different from the usual calm and sweet Yong Hwa.
“I need to go now Shin Hye. We still need to practice for our last day concert. Annyeong.” He said and ends the call.
Yong Hwa went to their practice and Jong Hyun noticed that he doesn’t look fine.
“Gwaenchana?” He asks.
But Yong Hwa didn’t answer him. He just got his guitar and play “Because I Miss You”.
“Hyung, why are you playing that song? I thought we won’t be including that in our repertoire for tonight.” Min Hyuk asks.
Yong Hwa still didn’t reply. He just continued playing the song and starts to sing. They just let him do it. But when he was about to finish the song, they noticed that he is already crying.
“Hyung, what’s wrong?” Jung Shin asked and approaches him.
Yong Hwa wipes his tears and stand up to leave the room but Jong Hyun stops him.
“We know there’s something bothering you.” He said while holding his arm. “We are here… you can tell us.”
Yong Hwa just looked at him and his tears starts to fall again. When Jong Hyun saw him like that he hugs him.
Min Hyuk, who was also surprise to see him like that for the first time approach him and said… “Hyung, is it about Shin Hye Eonni?”
“Min Hyuk-ah…” Jung Shin said and signals him to let Yong Hwa be like that first.
When Yong Hwa finally stopped crying, he gets back to his seats and said “Mianhe, if I acted like that.”
“We understand Hyung. But can you tell us now why you act like that?” Jong Hyun asks.
“This is the first we saw you like that. And we know that only one person can make you feel like that.” Jung Shin added.
“Is it Shin Hye Eonni?” Min Hyuk asks again.
“Ne.” Yong Hwa nodded and sighs. “She doesn’t want me to push through our plan tonight.”
“Wae-yo?” Jong Hyun asks.
“I don’t know also. She just said that it’s not yet the right time.” He replies.
“So what will you do now? Will you push through with the plan?” Jung Shin asks.
“I’m not yet sure. Let’s just see what will happen. But don’t worry I won’t let this affect our concert.” He stands up. “Let’s start our practice again.” He smiles… a fake smile that he cannot hide from his band mates.
On the other hand Shin Hye, can’t stop crying in her room after Yong Hwa ended the call. Her mother at that time was knocking at her door. She didn’t answer so she just enters her room and saw her sitting on the floor besides her bed crying.
“Shin Hye, why are you crying?” She asks and approaches her.
“Umma…” She said and hugs her mother.
“What’s wrong? Did you and Yong Hwa fight?” She asks.
She didn’t answer instead she just tighten her hug to her mother.
“Shin Hye-ah, tell Umma what’s wrong.” She said while rubbing her back.
“Umma, I broke my promise to Yong.” Her tears continue to fall. “I thought I’m strong enough but I am not.”
“Shin Hye-ah, since when did you become like that? The Shin Hye that I raise is a strong woman. You need to be strong not only for yourself but for your love ones. I know you are afraid on the outcome of your revelation but don’t you know that the longer you hide it, the more you will feel like this.” She said and looks at her. “Yong Hwa is doing his best for your relationship, don’t you think it’s now time for you to do your share.”
Shin Hye nodded and wipes her tears. “Ne. Kamsahamnida Umma”
CN Blue practice went well. And as he promised, his performance is the usual Yong Hwa or even much better. He is so lively that you won’t think that he just cry few hours ago before their concert.
But when Yong Hwa performed his song “Y, Why?” his aura changed. He became too emotional and was teary-eyed while singing it. What he didn’t know is someone was actually watching him… crying while listening to him as she knows that the song was written for her.
“Mianhe Yong” Shin Hye thought while crying. After the song she immediately left and asks their managers not to tell him that she went to the concert.
The next day, news about the concert spread in different sites. They talk about how good the concert was. But the most talked about was the presence of Lee Min Jung in their concert. She tweet a photo of her with the CN Blue boys and even added their songs in her Cyber world playlist. Because of this speculations came out that she was there to support Yong Hwa and that his performance of “Y, Why” was dedicated to her.
Yong Hwa just kept quiet about this and so was Shin Hye. And through this time they didn’t have any communication. The issue about Lee Min Jung stop a few days after the concert.
Then another one came, Seo Hyun said in a show that she never had a true feeling for Yong Hwa during their WGM show. Now, speculations rise that she is the reason why Yong Hwa is like that during their concert. When it comes to news about Yong Hwa and Seo Hyun, Shin Hye will always get affected. But this time instead of crying she decided to do her share to keep her relationship with Yong Hwa stronger.
“This is not the time for crying. I should stand by my Jagiya.” She said after reading the news.
Yong Hwa has a scheduled press conference of a clothing line endorsement. He knows that people will definitely ask him about the recent issues that involve him. So, he prepared himself for his answers. But his plan changed when he received a Kakao message from Shin Hye.
“Yong, don’t worry about me anymore. I am ready now. Saranghe” Shin Hye wrote on her Kakao message.
Yong smiles and reply to her. “Saranghe my Jagiya.”
The press conference started a few minutes after Shin Hye’s message. At first the questions are all about CN Blue’s recent launch in Japan. But when the topic about the CN Blue concert started, the name of Lee Min Jung and Seo Hyun came out.
“Yong Hwa, is it true that you are close with Lee Min Jung?” Reporter Lee asks.
“When we did our shoot in Hong Kong I can say it’s not hard to get along with her. But if you say close, I can’t really say that because for me being close is when I am able to tell that person things that I can’t tell to anyone.” He replies.
“Then why did you invite her during your show? Some even conclude that your performance of ‘Y, Why’ was dedicated to her.” The reporter asks again.
“Oh, about that, it was our manager who actually wanted to invite her. He’s a fan of hers so he asks me to give her the invitation.” He said and looks at his manager.
“So, it means the invitation was actually done in Hong Kong?” He asks again.
“Aniyo. We were already in Seoul when I gave it to her. I asked someone who knows and worked with her before to help me.” He said and smiles.
“If it’s not Lee Min Jung, does it mean it’s for Seo Hyun? We heard that you wrote that song for her and you were teary-eyed that night because you found out that she doesn’t have any feeling for you.” Reporter Jang asks.
“I wrote that song during Minami Shineyo time so how can it be connected to her. I’ll be honest that any guy will really like for her. She’s sweet, beautiful and talented.” He said.
“So, you didn’t write that song for her. But you’re teary-eyed because she didn’t feel the same way as you do?” He asks again.
“Aniyo. It’s not true that I was teary-eyed because of what she said. It’s because of someone else.” He replies.
Then Reporter Kim who’s been analyzing Yong Hwa’s replies asks. “So, if it’s not Lee Min Jung or Seo Hyun then it must be another woman.”
Yong Hwa smiled so he continues. “And you said that the song ‘Y, Why’ was written during your Minami Shineyo shoot. Then it only means that the woman behind that song could be with you during that time, right?”
“Ne.” Yong Hwa confirmed. “That song was my secret confession for her as I sang it to her first before we released it.”
“When you did that, was she aware of it? Did she reply positively?” Reporter Kim continues to ask.
“She did. She agreed to be my girlfriend and we’ve been together for two years now.” He said and then people from the press conference began to react. They began to asks a lot of questions.
“You mean all the while you hide it.”
“How did she feel when you act as Seo Hyun’s husband for We Got Married?”
“What’s her reaction on Lee Min Jung issue?”
Yong Hwa just smile but when the next question was asked…
“And how about your closeness with Park Shin Hye, did she jealous of her? Recently there are news that you two were seen together having coffee, watching movies, and listening to music or having a bike ride at Han River.” Reporter Kim asks.
“About that, no she’s not jealous. She knew about it.” He said and smiles.
“Yong Hwa, you said you’ve been with her for two years now right?” The reporter said.
“Ne.” Yong Hwa nodded.
“Since you’ve already mentioned about her… can we also know her name?” The reporter asks.
Yong Hwa looked at his manager to ask for his approval. His manager nods.
“Ne. I’ll let you know who she is.” He said. “But I need to get my Ipad first.”
Yong Hwa’s manager gave him his Ipad. Reporters are confuse why he need his Ipad.
“I’m sure you all have your twitter account right?” Yong Hwa asks. The reporters all nodded.
“Well can you please give me a minute” Then he type something on his Ipad. After that, he said. “If you want to know who she is… please check my latest tweet. Kamsahamnida.”
All the reporters took their hand phone, Ipad and laptop to check his tweet. And after they saw it…
“Oh, she’s her girlfriend.”
“They really look good together”
“I knew it. I’ve been watching them since Minami Shineyo and I have a feeling there’s something that they are hiding.” Reporter Kim said.
They still want to ask Yong Hwa about his girlfriend but the organizer already ended the interview. And Yong Hwa already left. He went to the dressing room first and to his surprise, someone was there waiting for him.
